This image came to my mind when I was listening to Brad Paisley's song "Then"....

"I can just see you
With a baby on the way"

GOD it is such a beautiful song, it brings tears to my eyes.

Anyways...

The image was so strong that I had to drop everything and paint this. You'd never know I was up at 5:30 am this morning because I am so incredibly proud of how she turned out. No references used, other than my Liliana ones.

And yes, she's full term...'bout to pop...not sure who she is carrying...

I am soooo happy with how the cloth turned out. Her skin tone looks good as far as I am concerned. Yeah, I suck with hands and I am not fussy with how the bottom one turned out. :shrug: I tried my best, what can I say? Her hair came out okay. I've done better but at least it is decent and has her typical bouncy volume.

But I think this is my best to date. Ish happy :aww:

I guess this drawing is spawned from the birth of my little cousin Kaiden Francis...he's just a QT PIE!

I love the look of a pregnant woman. There is just something so incredibly beautiful about the miracle of life.

Tools: Photoshop CS2, Corel Painter 9
Time: Almost 7 hours...non stop...except to let the dog out to pee :XD:

*As I am looking at it after posting, I am noticing little areas where the shading isn't quite right. But like I said, I have been awake since 5:30 am. I am not fixing it now :XD: So no need to point it out either) *

*Dangit the hands are starting to bother me...they will eventually get fixed :shakefist: *

* No she's not missing a leg, it's just not showing because it is directly behind the other. *
